This is not a simple B&B, but a very successful cultural mash up. Every corner of the house and furniture is able to communicate and contextualize the character of Abruzzo and at the same time of places thousands of kilometers away. A place that tells the stories of the people who made it so: Margaret and Domenico. I think that every territory must have its "own Domenico", a tireless, kind person capable of telling and advising the traveler about the places to discover.
We had a well-kept room, spacious, comfortable and very clean. Excellent breakfast under a beautiful veranda.
Perfect location for visiting many of the most beautiful places in this region.

Questo non è un semplice B&B, ma un riuscitissimo mash up culturale. Ogni angolo della struttura e dell'arredo è capace comunicare e contestualizzare il carattere dell'Abruzzo e al contempo di luoghi lontani migliaia di chilometri. Un luogo che racconta le storie delle persone che lo hanno reso tale: Margaret e Domenico. Penso che ogni territorio debba avere un "proprio Domenico", una persona instancabile, gentile e capace di raccontare e consigliare al viaggiatore i luoghi da scoprire.
Camera curata, spaziosa, comfortevole e molto pulita. Colazione ottima sotto una bellissima veranda.
Posizione perfetta per visitare molti dei luoghi più belli di questa regione.

I was recommended to La Rocca Mia Bed and Breakfast by a friend and what great advice. The owners in which one is Italian the other American were both able to make our stay informative, adventurous and comfortable and they were very friendly and helpful. The house is clean, neat and spacious with rooms that have been thoughtfully decorated. We stayed in the “Romantic Room” which had beautiful scenery of the old castle from our window. We were comfortable wandering around the garden and often sat outside for breakfast or an afternoon vino with good Italian food. Although the owners were social they also gave us opportunities to be on our own. Breakfast was amazing as really was all the food!!!!!! Kathy Worner - Sidney, Australia

I had a wonderful stay with Margaret and Domenico. They are both warm and friendly people who made sure I was comfortable during my stay. Margaret cooks a different breakfast every morning from fresh local produce. Domenico's local knowledge is invaluable; we would never have known about the local festivals or the best way to get there without his advice. Together they are a great team who made sure I had the holiday I wanted to have. I cooked with a local chef, went wine tasting, explored villages and the coast line, ate at amazing restaurants and experienced a local Notte Bianca (White NIght) The house has been beautifully renovated and each room has its own unique feel. A mix of antique and modern fixtures makes you feel you are at home. A wonderful place to relax inside on a hot sunny afternoon and outside in the cooler evening air. With stunning views across the valley, La Rocca Mia is perfectly situated, rural enough to see the stars, but close to local shops and amenities.
